TV Monster

Well, we're not proud of it, but Clio has figured out the TV. And she likes it. It's funny- one of our major problems with the Day Care from early on was that the TV was always on. This is no longer true, but the kids do watch Dora or Sponge Bob in the morning, and we're fine (enough) with this. Especially since Clio used to glance at it and then go find something more interesting to do. But that was a thing of the past.

Now, just like her Daddy, if the TV is on Clio's attention is 100% captivated. I have to be careful what I read to her, because if TV is mentioned (They Might Be Giants "Bed Bed Bed" on all the things they've done in the day: "I've watched TV," etc.), she says "want watch TV" and positions herself nearby. Once, I even caught her trying to work the remote.

At least, in this particular piece of evidence, she's watching the primary coverage. Obama is ahead in the polls.
